What’s new about the Samsung Galaxy S10e
If you're not a fan of the way phones seem to have significantly increased in size over the last few years, then the Galaxy S10e may just be the one for you. Samsung is positioning the phone as a premium model in a compact format, coming in at with a 5.8-inch screen, which is significantly smaller than the other two models in the range.
Otherwise, the Galaxy S10e is pretty much a smaller version of the S10 model, minus the curve that gives its bigger siblings a luxurious feel. The S10e has a clean back, rounded edges, and a minimal camera bump at the rear. There are quite a few colour options to choose from, plus one or two premium colours - depending on where you buy the phone.

A closer look at the Samsung Galaxy S10e features
If you’re considering the Galaxy S10e, then cost is a likely factor in your decision-making, which may lead you to think that you won’t get the best performance. But when it comes to the specs of the Galaxy S10e, there are barely any compromises for the customer to endure - it's a premium product all around. The S10e has slightly less RAM than its siblings, offering 6GB compared to 8GB of the other models. The phone still has plenty of power even when playing the most powerful games and running the heftiest applications.
In terms of size and display, with a 5.8-inch screen it’s the most compact of the four models in the line, but still packs an Infinity-O AMOLED display for those who need some powerful display performance.
The S10e does come with an exciting feature – it offers what Samsung is calling Wireless Powershare. It gives you the ability to turn your phone into a wireless charger, powering other QI-enabled devices such as smart watches, and even other phones.
The Galaxy S10e comes preloaded with Android 9 Pie, and all of the benefits offered by that operating system. Samsung has also included their Bixby voice assistant, alongside a dedicated button to activate the feature. The Samsung S10e does miss out on a few novelty features, but it's nevertheless a great smartphone with the top spec offering you would expect from a flagship model, ticking all the design and operational boxes.
When it comes to the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S10e packs quite the punch. It has two rear cameras, a 12MP main camera, and a 16MP super-wide lens for panoramic shots. This is the exact setup across the S10 line, although the S10e does miss out on a third telephoto lens offered by the other models.
There are two storage options for the Samsung Galaxy S10e: 128GB or 256GB of storage. You will also be able to expand this storage with the use of a microSD slot which supports cards of up to 512GB in size.
